What we are providing
Healthy, thriving communities require us working together to build the best of what's already present among us.
This work protects us from isolation and disintegration, from denying each other's dignity, from forgetting our own value.

Our Culture
Rev. John Edgar, CD4AP’s founder, uses several phrases in his book Front Porch for All People that have shaped approach to community.
Divine Economy of Adundance
There is more than enough. God organized creation and each of our lives with a sufficient quantity of every good gift for every good purpose. When we share what we have, God multiplies these gifts.
Fixating on needs never created anything, because you cannot make something from nothing. Assets not needs are how we build up our congregations and communities. The glass is half-full, not half-empty.
God is doing something which we could not do for or by ourselves. This equips us to tackle what may otherwise appear risky or even impossible. We provide the initial "spark" of a new idea aimed at achieving the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of those we serve.
Front Porch for All People
Christ is visible in relationships that cross divisions in our society. The more we embrace these encounters the more vibrant the divine light shines. By constantly confirming all means all, we expand the inclusive body of Christ.
Hospitality is radical
Every day we do simple things to show folks we are glad to see them. No one can prohibit us from greeting people with a smile or offering a cup of coffee. We choose to love the strangers God has sent to be our neighbors. Then we see what happens.
God's free gifts flow all around us all the time, encouraging people to reach out and touch the tangible examples of grace. As we reach out, sharing the gifts we have received, we change for the better.
